Cadence 16.2 License Key

I tried installing yesterday, couldn't get the hasp keys to be recognized by the license manager. I even tried with win 7 drivers from alladin. Is there a specific order to doing an install, and what do I need to do to get a complete removal of the software to try installation of hasp drivers and orcad from scratch.

After installation, go to the directory that you installed the license manager into, in there is a flexid directory, run the Flexid_dongle_driver_installer_64.exe, this will get the required dongle drivers.

If your new license file is on a dongle, be sure the Cadence licensing dongle is plugged into your computer before you begin. Only one licensing dongle may be plugged into your computer at a time.

If Licensee is accepting this Agreement during the installation of a Maintenance Release part-way through an existing license term, the references to Quotation in this Agreement are to the original Quotation that was provided to Licensee at the start of that license, but this Agreement shall replace the original license agreement, which shall be terminated.

Some licenses may be issued free of charge. In such instances a Quotation may not be issued and the terms normally given in the Quotation (such as license entitlement and period) shall be taken from the license specification issued with the License Keys. In the absence of a Quotation, the license specification shall be referred to for terms normally stated in the Quotation.

b. Use the Licensed Software in any commercial applications or for productive purposes.Such evaluation licenses are issued by the Licensor at the Licensor's sole discretion to enable prospects and customers an opportunity to gain experience of the capabilities, or new capabilities, of the Licensed Software. They are issued for limited duration - typically 30 days - and in limited quantity - typically 1 per Licensee that has bona fides future commercial or educational requirements for the Licensed Software. In some special circumstances, for example where a Licensee purchases training for a number of potential users of a future non-evaluation license, the Licensor may, at its sole discretion, issue multiple trial License Keys to the Licensee to allow parallel trial evaluations.

If you have paid a license fee or fees for one or more Node-Locked Licenses, this Agreement permits you to install and use one (1) copy of the Licensed Software on a single identified computer at any time in the location (agreed a priori with the Licensor) for each license and subject to applicable law or regulation. The identifiers for the licensed computer and the location will be set out in the Quotation or otherwise set out in writing by the Licensor or its Authorized Distributor. You may only move this license to another computer or move the identified computer to another country with the prior written approval of the Licensor. Such move, if approved, may be subject to payment of a fee and to compliance with any instructions issued by the Licensor, including regarding the removal of the License Key and use of a new License Key provided by the Licensor (if applicable).

If you have paid a license fee or fees for one or more Floating Licenses, this agreement permits you to install the Licensed Software on the License Server and have one (1) concurrent use of the Licensed Software for each Floating License key on the Licensee's computers that are on the same network as the License Server and located in the country or countries agreed a priori in writing with the Licensor. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Licensor, the Floating License only permits use of the Licensed Software on the computers used by the Licensee that are located in the country or countries identified in the Quotation or that are otherwise approved in writing by the Licensor or its Authorized Distributor acting on its behalf.

If you have not paid a license fee or fees for the license in use (e.g., you are using a trial license or Beta Version license) you may only use the number and type of licenses as License Keys provided by the Licensor in the country or countries agreed a priori with the Licensor.

6.11 Licensor agrees that it will not subject the Licensed Software to any open source software ("OSS") license that conflicts with this Agreement or that does not otherwise apply to the Licensed Software.

Title, copyright and all other Intellectual Property and proprietary rights in the Licensed Software and the Documentation and in any other software licensed to Licensee, and all parts and copies thereof, shall remain vested in Licensor or its affiliates or, in relation to Third Party Components or Bundled Third Party Products, the relevant third party licensor. The Licensor shall own the copyright and other Intellectual Property in any modifications or additions made to the Licensed Software, whether or not any of the foregoing are produced by the Licensee or written on a bespoke basis for the Licensee hereunder by the Licensor. The Licensee shall execute all documents necessary to effect such ownership.

Licensor has no liability to Licensee if the claim is based upon: (a) the combination of the Licensed Software with any product not provided by Licensor for use with the Licensed Software; (b) the modification of the Licensed Software other than by Licensor; (c) the use of the Licensed Software that is not a current, unaltered release of the Licensed Software; (d) the use of the Licensed Software as part of an infringing process; (e) a product that Licensee makes, uses, or sells; (f) any Beta Code or software (whether or not it is part of the suite of Licensed Software) provided to Licensee at no charge; (g) any software provided by Licensor's licensors who do not provide such indemnification to Licensor's licensees; (h) OSS, except to the extent that the infringement is directly caused by Licensor's modifications to such OSS; or (i) infringement by Licensee that is deemed wilful. In the case of wilful infringement by Licensee, Licensee shall reimburse Licensor for its reasonable attorney fees and other costs related to the claim.

Here we report the first recorded observations of a stellar occultation by Kuiper Belt Object (KBO) (50000) Quaoar. We detected a single-chord stellar occultation by Quaoar of a magnitude 16.2 star designated 26029635 UCAC2 (2MASS ID 1275509401), which occurred on 11 February 2011 UT. The prediction of the occultation was made using long baseline astrometric observations of Quaoar from several sites as part of the MIT Planetary Astronomy Laboratory's continuing effort to improve KBO positions for occultation prediction. The successful observations were made with a Celestron C14 0.36 m telescope and an SBIG STL-1001E CCD camera on a Paramount ME robotic mount. These observations show that a relatively accessible level of astronomical equipment, of the class often used by amateur astronomers, can be used to record KBO occultations. The data were taken at MIT's George R. Wallace, Jr., Astrophysical Observatory in Westford, MA. A light curve was generated from the data using aperture photometry on the individual images and is presented here. This light curve is being analyzed by Person et al. (this meeting) to provide constraints on Quaoar's size. We also discuss various observing strategies that could be used in the future to optimize the data from this type of event. NASA's 3-m Infrared Telescope Facility (IRTF) on Mauna Kea, HI plays a leading role in obtaining planetary science observations. However, there has been no capability for high-speed, visible imaging from this telescope. Here we present a new IRTF instrument, MORIS, the MIT Optical Rapid Imaging System. MORIS is based on POETS (Portable Occultation Eclipse and Transit Systems; Souza et al., 2006, PASP, 118, 1550). Its primary component is an Andor iXon camera, a 512x512 array of 16-micron pixels with high quantum efficiency, low read noise, low dark current, and full-frame readout rates of between 3.5 Hz (6 e /pixel read noise) and 35 Hz (49 e /pixel read noise at electron-multiplying gain=1). User-selectable binning and subframing can increase the cadence to a few hundred Hz. An electron-multiplying mode can be employed for photon counting, effectively reducing the read noise to sub-electron levels at the expense of dynamic range. Data cubes, or individual frames, can be triggered to nanosecond accuracy using a GPS. MORIS is mounted on the side-facing widow of SpeX (Rayner et al. 2003, PASP, 115, 362), allowing simultaneous near-infrared and visible observations. The mounting box contains 3:1 reducing optics to produce a 60 arcsec x 60 arcsec field of view at f/12.7. It hosts a ten-slot filter wheel, with Sloan g, r, i, and z, VR, Johnson V, and long-pass red filters. We describe the instrument design, components, and measured characteristics. We report results from the first science observations, a 24 June 2008 stellar occultation by Pluto. We also discuss a recent overhaul of the optical path, performed in order to eliminate scattered light. This work is supported in part by NASA Planetary Major Equipment grant NNX07AK95G. Computational methods in molecular biology will increasingly depend on standards-based annotations that describe biological experiments in an unambiguous manner. Annotare is a software tool that enables biologists to easily annotate their high-throughput experiments, biomaterials and data in a standards-compliant way that facilitates meaningful search and analysis. Annotare is available from under the terms of the open-source MIT License ( -license.php). It has been tested on both Mac and Windows.
